i once worked as a Japanese translator for a kpop concert in Japan.there were a lot of singers/idols attended the concert, including Jay Park.

i worked for another singer whose restroom was opposite to Jay’s.usually staffs couldn’t go into and had to be standby in front of the room. anyway i just stood there and did nothing for more than 10 hours which my body became heavily exhausted.

during the time waiting i became close with the girl who translated for Jay. our feet were aching a bit even though jay’s manager asked us to enter the room but we felt awkward.and then manger said it was jay kept seeing us outside and kept telling him to ask.

when we got in the room, jay brought us 2 chairs and said “you guys sit here.”  i was surprise it was not the manger but singer brought chairs directly. jay went on saying “don’t feel uncomfortable you can get in the room anytime.” ㅜㅜi’ve never met a singer is kindness like him.

ps: when back to Korea other singers all carried only their own bags, but jay park carried baggages all around him keke.be convenient for taking press photos by reporters everybody are as light as they could except himㅜㅜ

after thinking a lot, finally i decided bringing the eggs from my own layer house to the fansigh as a present. it’s good for jay’s health, and give them directly without worrying they might broke.

me: the hen from own house layed eggs recently. it’s a gift for you. please remember to eat.

jay: the hen layed eggs??

me: yes. the hen raised by me…

jay: you give me to eat??

me: yes. it’s especially for you so you must eat them.

jay: are you serious?? that’s so sad.

me: i put twelve of them so you can eat with aom.

[Trans] @Qriousity The opinion about the show: Jay! I think it’s hard to find one that possess good looks, dancing, singing, rapping, English skill and natural born talent in Korea. I hope he will succeed worldwide by joining a good company. I was in the front and were surrounded by Jay’s fans. They recorded with HD handy camcorders which were better quality than the Music Cam’s. From all directions, I heard none-explicable scream as well as “handsome, cute, what am I gonna do?” every 10 second with about a sound of 80 decibels. When he showed his abs, it’s 150 decibels, it’s like a three-stage high-pitched sound.ㅠㅠ The highlight part was, after Jay finished his show, he took off his shirt and threw it to the audience, of all people, it landed about 2m front away of me, all of a sudden there’s a black hole which sucked all the girls around there…when I came back to myself, about 20 people grabbed the shirt. It’s like a loaf of meat which was thrown into hungry beasts’ cage.

oh my gosh. I SAW HIM YESTERDAY AND I’M LIKE SO FUCKING CLOSE. For those who don’t know, he performed for a free concert against Human Trafficking last Saturday night here in the Philippines. YES, the concert’s for free so I saw him for free too. I’m not a jaywalker nor a hottest so I’m not as excited as the other fangirls who are there. I saw some Koreans who are there to see Jay Park. But as the other performers finished, my heart beats faster and faster. And there, JAY PARK IS THERE. HE’S THERE IN FRONT OF ME GIVING A POWERFUL PERFORMANCE. HE PERFORMED FOR 10 MINUTES I GUESS? I’m not sure tho because when he entered I went O.O and remained like that until he left. HE’S SUCH A GOOD PERFORMER. I LOVE THE WAY HE DANCED and he sang I think 3 songs from his album plus other English songs. I WON’T EVER FORGET THAT DAY. Even though I’m tired to death and my feet hurt like there’s no tomorrow, the fact that I finally saw Jay Park is still one of my most treasured moments ever. One of the funniest moments with him, uhm, when the fans are shouting “Take it off! Take it off!” pertaining to the shirt his wearing, he said, “Oh~ there are too many dirty-minded people here” then after his last performance HE TOOK HIS FUCKING SHIRT OFF AND HE’S TOO FUCKING SEXY THAT EVERYBODY WENT “SDSFKGFHKGLAKAASDFGKFL AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Now I know why his fans love him so much, his live’s so good, plus his humor and the sexiness all over, ugh, I LOVE JAY PARK! Oh, he promised that he’ll be back, can’t wait for that day to come, I’m going to stalk him like there’s no tomorrow. XD And of course, I’m going to watch his show again and again. LOL, one thing I won’t forget too is him always saying “Put your hands up! Yeah, put your hands up!” HAHAHA.

Okay, let me just start out by saying that yesterday was one of the best days of my life. I had so much fun. And the only reason I went to ISA every year was mainly because of Wong Fu, but last year at 2010, they added Jay Park, so I HAD to go. btw, i didnt even write a fan account about last year’s ISA for Jay because I didn’t have a tumblr at the time lol. So, here’s something you need to know..uhh so it was my friend, and my other friend (along with her sister and her dad- he’s so cool omg) who attended the concert with me. And when I but the tickets with my friend, we got VIP, and then it turned out that my other friend, her sister and her dad got backstage..which means you get to take pictures with the artists and get their autograph. *sigh* They told me that it was really worth it. Later on, our other friend and her other friend joined us at the concert.

We decided to get there early because we heard that there were like 20 people lining up already. So, when we got there, there weren’t a lot of people so we were lucky. I saw some Jay Park international forums with a lot of posters saying “JAY PARK” like those pla-cards that the Korean fans hold up at the kpop concerts! I had a poster that said “I LOVE JAY PARK!” and I also had a letter that I wrote that I was planning on giving him when I go to the meet and greet later in the day. I didn’t think he would accept gifts or fan mail tho. My friends kept telling me that I should put my address so he could write back..but that seemed weird haha. So I just put my twitter account~ 

We waited in line for a loooong time..some of the artists would show up occasionally to excite the fans haha. And while we were waiting in line, we heard the sound checks by the artists, and my heart just melted when I heard Jay rehearsing..oh my gosh it just makes you swoon, spazz, and fan girl scream so much.

Meet and Greet:

So, we originally lined up first to meet FM, Kevjumba, Cathy Nguyen, and Ryan (Jay’s meet and greet was after that) but that line was tooooooo long and we didn’t think we would make it. So, since Jay’s meet and greet time slot was after them, we decided to just line up anyways in time for Jay’s meet and greet so we didn’t have to wait too long because we knew that the line would be long for Jay because yknow..IT JAY EFFING PARK. As I was waiting in line, I met some other JWALKERS, and omg they’re so cute LOLOL. They kept screaming as the line kept moving haha. And the Korean fans are cute too! They traveled all the way to see him. That’s some dedicated fans right there ^^

As the line was moving closer and closer, my heart started to beat faster and faster oh my gosh. I can’t explain how nervous I was because I think I like almost passed out LOL. Anyways, I decided to take a peak at the front of the line and take some pictures of him, but there were too many people..and they were blocking the way so it was impossible. And the staff workers were very strict. 

And here it came, my dream (one of them lol) about to come true right here at this concert. One of the staff members signaled me to come forward and then I gave my poster to him to sign and, I just STARED at his face while he was signing it. All that gloriousness and cuteness and charisma in one body. HE LOOKED SO CUTE AND HANDSOME..AFHAJKCNKFNA HIS SKIN IS SO CLEAR AND MILKY AND………….. FLAWLESS. FOR THAT SHORT TIME I HAD WITH HIM, FELT LIKE AND HOUR. I was so happy, he signed his name so huge and after he was done, HE LOOKED UP AT ME AND SMILED. HE SMILED AT ME. MEEEE. Can you imagine Jay Park smiling at you. Seriously, I just died right there. It was so amazing. He’s more than what I expected~ HE LOOKS BETTER IN REAL LIFE THAN ON TUMBLR LOL. After that precious moment, I remembered that I still had that letter! I took out my letter quickly, and gave it to him. It was a short conversation when I handed it to him tho.

Me: Hi Jayyyyyy (in a nervous sounding voice)

Jay: Hi *smiles a little bit*

Me: Oh, umm I have a letter for you.. *holds out letter*

Jay: Oh, sure! 

*takes letter*

Me: Byee Jay~~! I love you..

What sucks about it was that the staff was rushing every person so the line was moving smoothly. And, at that moment when I handed Jay the letter I died inside too. OMG. I wish I could just pause at that moment when I handed Jay the letter. It’s like..we almost touched each other’s hands. Our hands..seperated by a piece of paper LOL. 

After I left, I looked back to see what Jay did with the letter because I was afraid he might lose it..PLUS, I was nervous because I thought I was the only fan who gave him something. But, it turns out that when I looked back, there were other presents and letters with him at the back! I saw him hand the letter to his friend/guard/asisstant person and he put it in Jay’s bag. I was relieved ^_^ 

He was still signing a couple more posters when I looked back a second time and the staff members were rushing him to go backstage after he finished signing. This kind of caused a lot of chaos LOL. I wanted to at least get ONE picture of him so I tried my best. And I got one! Bad quality tho.

After that, I went back to the audience and watched the other artists perform. It was so hard to go back in tho. We were originally in the VERY FRONT but the place was full when we got back. My friend, her sister and her dad already told me that they took pictures with Jay..LUCKYY. I should have gotten backstage pass tickets.

Performance:

Wong Fu was the act before Jay so that was like the most exciting part of the concert because those were the acts I was looking forward to. Wong Fu was really hilarious, along with their skit ^_^ After they finished, Phil (Wong Fu) was providing a chant for the fans to say to bring out Jay. He was like “SAY JAY PARK! JAY PARK! JAY PARK! JAY PARK! JAY PARK! JAY PARK!” and we said that for like 30 seconds and then finally he came out.

The place was filled with screams and fans yelling “JAYYYYY!” and he came out performing with his song “Abandoned”. He KILLED that performance. You could see all the glowsticks moving back and forth chanting along with the song~ 

I love how all the girls screamed everytime he took off his jacket a little bit~ It was pretty sexy LOL. After the song, he took some time to drink some water and he talked to the audience a little bit, thanking everybody for the support. He announced that he had to go back to Korea after the concert. Aww.

After that, he rapped to his other songs, some remixes, too. I forgot what song it was but, he flashed his abs to our side haha. It was really quick tho, but really HOT. We all screamed of course ^__^ There were some fanboys too which was pretty funny LOL.

Then he did some BBOYING with AOM and other dancers. They were really good. Everybody went up and they were really amazing! Jay was the last one to go up and everybody cheered for him and chanted his name like “JAY JAY JAY!” (well..only some of us LOL). What was unexpected was that after that performance, he was done. He said “GOOD NIGHT! and that was it. Wahhh. I wanted him to stay longer :(

After I got home to my friends house, her dad said he didn’t want his signed poster (it has all the artists’ autographs) so have gave me the portion of the poster that had Jay’s autograph..so..I HAVE TWO OF JAY’S AUTOGRAPH HAHA.

everyone always talk abt his skin. in every fanacc I read they mentioned his skin 

Last week I went to IS2 as I was selected as one of the audience members! But the IS2 staff let me sit in the last row of the judges – it seemed like the spots weren’t full. I’m writing to raise an issue about IS2’s system of choosing the judges. The six 40-50 year-old men and women that were sitting by me and the six men and women in their late 20s, told me that they came here because they have some connections with the staff – I didn’t even ask! – so proudly and asked me what the proper process is to be chosen as a judge. The middle-aged men even said that they have no idea what is going on. The older people didn’t know anyone there except HuhGak. They even asked if G.O. was an athlete. The younger people sitting at the front were saying how they will choose Gak this time since Jay always won against him. About 12 people sitting around me were chosen to be judges due to their connections with the staff – who knows how many more of them are in the entire area reserved for judges? Is it all talk when you say that you invited “people who love music” as judges? If you are going to invite the friends of the staff, then at least invite people with proper judging criteria… Elders who only know gak and youngsters with unreasonable expectations… I hope that in the future, the judges of IS2 will be those who properly applied through the website to see the IS2 members and with reasonable expectations….
